Description:
Here's an attrative and handy American custom bolt rifle that is ready for the field! Scoped with modern Leupold optics, this weighs 8 pounds, has 13-1/4" pull, 20" barrel, and studs for standard quick release swivels. Mechanicals and finish are just superb inside and out, including the bore. Trigger is an adjustable drop-sear unit made by Mashburn and it works really nicely. Fixed Leupold 6x scope has crisp, clear optics, duplex reticle and positive adjustments. Receiver is dated 1951, but we're not quite sure who the "Hughes" was that built this rifle. Did a nice job though. Stock is birdseye maple that has been stained dark brown-red like alkynit root color. Wood work is very nice, with great inletting and a neat checkering pattern. CA sales OK.
