You'vre heard it before: carried alot, shot very little. Here's another one like that! From the looks of the receiver, can you tell how he liked to carry this rifle most of the time? There's a few dings and scratches on the rest of the rifle, but overall its in really fine shape inside and out, including the bore. 24" barrel has crisp, sharp bore and rifling and retains the factory sights and elevator. Weaver K4 scope is nice and clear, with fine crosshairs. 13-1/4" pull over the factory steel buttplate. Theres a pretty good dent in the right side of the stock, but doesn't effect the strength of this kind of stock. Like the distance/hold-over chart on the stock? So do we....I didn't have the heart to remove it...gives the rifle character. It seems just as the previous owner wore all the finish off the action, he got this beautiful, supple leather sling and mounted it in fancy push-button release swivels.
