Description:
S# 154933A, 38 cal, 24 inch barrel, very good bore with strong rifling and patches of light erosion. This 1884 production rifle remains in good condition with 10% blue on barrel and mag tube in protected areas. Receiver has traces of blue with staining and scattered areas of very light pitting. Upper tang has the shadow of a sight base visible and has two new filler screws in holes. Wood was refinished long ago and has very few marks. A small crack shows behind upper tang and a small chip is missing behind action on left side. Rear sight with home made post. A nice antique 1873 rifle. Antique
