Description:
"Mexican Loop" Pattern Holster for a Colt New Service Double Action revolver with 5 1/2 inch barrel or shorter. Maker unknown. This right hand holster features form fit pouch with double stitched main seam, and a single straight loop. Made of dark honey colored leather. The piece has a gracefully re-curved throat profile. A full silhouette skirt that owner modified by cutting a portion of skirt away and then hand laced back to the skirt to make the whole rig ride higher on the belt. You can see this worked as it shows signs of wear in this configuration. Has very nice age patina with no rips, tear or breaks. Will provide many years of service. My Colt is not included.
