Description:
Colt SAA Flattop Target Model Etched Bbl in cal 44-40. That should have gotten your attention! Only 21 Flattop SAA's were built in this caliber. Rare- very rare!! This Colt was built in 1888 and has nickel finish. Some flaking and wear to the finish on the bbl and also the ejector housing but still quite a bit of nickel remaining. The frame has most nickel as does the cylinder. Has the etched panel on the bbl "Colt Frontier Six Shooter" and Ivory grips. The left hand side grip has a vertical crack with no pieces missing and there is a small crack on the right hand grip coming off the bottom. Crisp action and a VG+ bore. Good looking rare desirable Colt!
