This rifle is equipped with a 34" heavy oct bbl measuring 1-1/10" at the muzzle. Total weight of the gun is 11 lbs. The stock is the very attractive tiger striped wood that has had a coat of varnish added. This is the short stock variety with a German silver forearm cap. No patch box. There is a cheek piece which was common in that era. The butt plate and trigger guard are brass. It has a unique cup style retainer on the nipple. Nipple is in very nice shape and likely a replacement. Double set trigger. The set trigger must be pulled to activate the front trigger. Overall cond is mostly an aged antique patina to the nice smooth metal. Wood is also VG. A couple of light age cracks. Hammer spring is good and the trigger works. Ramrod is a later replacement.
