First year production Remington model 700 BDL carbine in 243 Win.Built in late 1961 or early 1962,this rifle has a 20" barrel with open sights.Other features include an aluminum buttplate,ebony forend tip and grip cap,a drop floorplate,and fleur checkering.This rifle is in mint condition retaining 99%of the original blue and wood finish.It has Leupold bases installed.A rare and collectible rifle in a scarce caliber.C&R eligible.
