Outstanding 10ga hammer gun by J.H.Johnson of Pittsburgh.Johson was a trade name for Great Western Distributors who were a major sporting goods distributor in the late 19th and early 20th century.This gun has 30" damascus barrels that have bright clean bores and are free of dent,rust,or pits.The barrels are tight and on face.The wall thickness averages over .045" so this gun can be shot with proper loads.The gun has rebounding hammers.The receiver retains traces of case color and the barrels retain 90% of the damascus pattern.This is a great gun for vintage shoots or hunting with light loads.C&R eligible.
