Description:

Mauser 98 8.15x46R caliber rifle. Sportgewehr target rifle. Presentation inscribed with silver plate on left side of stock. Translated, it says “Gift (or donation) from the firm G.C. Dornheim to the Shooting Association 1920”. G.C. Dornheim was a munitions manufacture. Barrel is marked Blg. Sch HN. Receiver ring with Mauser address and 1917 date. Bore is excellent. Stock has an expertly repaired duffle bag cut in the area just below rear sight. Gun is near excellent overall.
