FINE SPRINGFIELD KRAG U.S. MODEL 1899 CARBINE. .30-40 Krag (U.S.) caliber. All original, complete and matching. Serial in the 350,xxx range and excellent visible inspector’s cartouche dated 1901. Matching wood on stock and hand guard. 60% plus blue on the barrel and silvery case hardening on the receiver and loading door. Wood with the original finish with a nice handling patina attesting to it’s originality. Working order and extra nice, bright bore.
