Description:
CLASSIC, GREAT CONDITION SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45 COLT CALIBER, 4 3/4" BARREL, MADE 1903, really hard to find these .45s in this condition, matching numbers, fine deep blue on the cylinder and barrel with thinning from holster carry on the lift barrel edge and on the outside edge of the ejector housing with nice deep blue elsewhere, unaltered front sight, also fine blue on the grip straps and trigger guard with normal light thinning only, deep blue on the butt, exc. cylinder pin with all the blue intact, nice screws, exc. markings, frame has cloudy and light case colors on the outer areas with vivid color in the protected areas- in front of the cylinder, on each side of the hammer (didn't show up well as photo light reflected), in the sighting groove, etc., exc. case color on the hammer sides, tight action, bright shiny bore, exc. grips with a couple of the most tiny edge chips on the bottom edge of the right side- hardly noticeable, really difficult to find these true early production "cowboy Colts" in this condition, (looks better than in the four photos as there was a lot of light reflection)
