Springfield Model M2 .22LR bolt-action repeater military training rifle with 5-round detachable box magazine, 24 in. barrel, Lyman windage & Elevation adjustable aperture rear sight, globe front sight with post, front and rear sling swivels, sporter style smooth walnut stock. Forward ring of receiver is marked: U.S. Springfield Armory, Cal. .22 M2 and 5-digit serial number. Bolt handle is marked: MS M2. Barrel and receiver retain 98% of original parkerized finish. Bolt body and bolt handle are in the white, rear portion of bolt and safety are parkerized. Trigger guard and floorplate retain 98% parkerized finish.Stock is very good overall with 98% original finish and some light scratches and handling marks. Checkered steel buttplate is very good with 98% original parkerized finish. Barrel is marked S A with flaming bomb and 5 - 42 barrel date. Rifle serial number is marked on bolt body. Overall condition about 95%.
