This belongs in a collection of Original Savage Configutation Rifles/Carbines. This is a Rare 99-H carbine in .30-30 caliber that has all the original features listed in the book! 20" round barrel with excellent bore. Original front and rear dovetail sights. Metal finish is original and approx. 95% remains. Case coloring on lever is approx. 98%. Walnut furniture has original oil finish and is about mint! Has the Brass rotor/counter. Safety is on lever. Drilled & tapped on tang for tang sight. Screw heads are excellent! This is a very nice collectible manufactured in 1936 "Pre War". Serial Number is #352XXX.
