Miniature spear point bowie knife of type carried by women in their garters ca. Civil War – 1870s. Ricasso maker marked “[Maltese cross] EBRO [Maltese cross]/A. WILLIAMS/SHEFFIELD/ENGLAND.” Four inch shiny blade, 7-7/16th inches overall length. Silver rounded tang at top of pearl one-piece handle. 5/8th inch German silver bolster with fancy lines and two beaded lines; German silver oval hand guard. Excellent condition. Free shipping.
