Colt Rattlesnake .45 acp issued by the American Historical Foundation in 1999. An edition limited to 1000 pistols. This one is absolutely new and perfect in the AHF glass top wood display case. The frame is a brushed/satin finish stainless steel and the slide is a bright, high polished stainless steel with gold inscriptions and embellishments. Various parts like the safety, slide release, mag release, hammer, bushing, grip screws and pins are all gold plated. The grips are a “rattlesnake” scaled look and feel. This is a very unique piece and some consider it to be the final gun needed for a Colt Snake collection. The Colt plastic case, with paperwork, and outer sleeve are also with this beautiful pistol.
