Description:
Colt SAA .45 lc first generation revolver. 5 ½” barrel, hard rubber grips and case colored frame. That’s what the gun is! What the factory letter says for 242251 is that it is a .32-20 with a 7 ½” barrel!! Look at the photos and it is clear that the frame has been renumbered. The backstrap and the grip frame seem to carry the original numbers. Although the grips are numbered I don’t think they are correct. The finishes look original; slightly faded case colors and bright blue barrel, cylinder, grip fame and back strapSo what we have here is a very nice, made-up 5 ½” .45 lc.
