This is a wonderful Winchester 1892 octagon barreled rifle with a brilliant 90% plus original blue finish. It has some case color showing on the hammer and lever. The barrel measures 24" and has a beautiful shiny bore. The action functions very crisp and nice. The wood shows very little wear, fits beautifully and has rich medium color. No disappointments. This is a very rare and desirable high finish collector grade Octagon barrel 92' Winchester in scarce 44-40 caliber.
