ON HOLD PENDING PAYMENT We are offering a 1873 Winchester First Model Round Barrel Rifle made in 1877 in the most popular 44-40 Caliber.With the indicated Serial number of 21406 this rifle is considered a late First Model according to the Madas Winchester Book.Overall metal finish a Smooth Gray to Brown Patina with very little pitting or abuse.All marking clear including Barrel markings and serial numbers,but as observed no bluing found.Correct early Front and Rear Sight and Thumb Print Dust Cover and 1866 Finger Lever Catch.Correct Wood with good metal to wood fit but a Hairline Crack found on the Rear Stock but stable,please see photos.Forend Wood undamaged but has dents and dings.The Bore is Clean,Shiny with strong rifling with no Rings,Pitting or buldges.Overall a good example of a Early 73 1st Model with a Strong Shootable bore.Please see all my Photographs and ask any questions that you may have.Made in 1877 this is considered an Antique Rifle and can be shipped within the US.Please be aware or Local or State laws pertaining to ownership.
