Early 5-screw variation Military & Police Revolver that eventually turned into the renowned S&W model 10 that was the standard cop gun for decades. The rare and thrilling thing about this one is the condition. Nearly mint condition with all finish remaining. Nice case colors on the trigger and hammer. I do not believe that you could find a nicer 38 M & P anywhere. Bonus; it comes in the rarely seen original S & W gold box with the wrapping paper and a cleaning rod. The box itself is about 98% condition. One end has been taped where it was coming loose. All corners are good and the colors are very vivid. Also comes with a lengthy S & W Letter telling about the 38 M & P Revolver. This one was shipped on April 6th 1949. A very nice package with the Revolver, Box and Letter!
