Firearm is in excellent 99%+ condition, this is an exceptionally rare second year production (1969) Ruger Blackhawk "Three-Screw" chambered in .30 Carbine, only 32, 985 of this configuration were made from 1968-1973. This model also includes the original box, warranty card, manual and factory anti-rust paper. Firearm may have been shot but probably no more than a box of shells as it is extremely clean both inside and out.

Ruger introduced the Blackhawk in 1955. Chambered for the .357 Magnum, the Blackhawk was a simple and strong design, and sold well. In 1956, as Smith & Wesson was introducing the new .44 Magnum, Ruger quickly developed a variant of the Blackhawk in the new cartridge. Ruger achieved wide popularity with this firearm in a hotly anticipated new cartridge, which was both cheaper and more readily available than the Smith & Wesson Model 29 revolver. According to popular legend, Ruger was able to field a .44 Magnum revolver at nearly the same time as Smith & Wesson due to a Ruger employee finding expended .44 Magnum cartridge cases at a scrapyard, and deducing that Smith & Wesson was about to launch a new cartridge.
In 1968 Ruger decided to try something different in their Blackhawk line. That's when they introduced the 7.5" barrel .30 Carbine. With military surplus ammunition in abundance during this time it was a unique concept that just made sense. The Ruger Blackhawk .30 Carbine doesn’t quite make the velocity of the M1 Carbine, but it will still push a 110 Grain bullet at over 1,400 fps with warmer hand loads. With downrange energy a touch below the .357 Magnum the .30 carbine proves to be a very accurate round that has no trouble touching out to 100 yards with a very flat trajectory.
