ON HOLD PENDING PAYMENT We are offering an original Winchester 1892 Octagon Rifle in 38-40 Cal.With Serial Number 843 this is a first year production possible first month.See my photographs of the Early Style Hammer with unique knurling pattern.Overall metal condition a brown to gray patina with very little pitting but some minor dings to the barrel.All markings Clear .The Bore is clean,shiny with strong rifling.No rings or buldges.Correct wood with good metal to wood fit and some original varnish observed.The action functions well.Overall a good example of a Very Early low (842) Serial number in a desireable 38-40 Caliber.Please see all my Photographs and ask any questions that you may have.This rifle is considered an Antique and be shipped direct within the US Please be aware of your local and state gun laws.Please see all my Antique Winchester Rifle and Cowboy Guns Listed this week.
