All original 1905 carbine in very good condition. The metal is in very good condition as is the bore, which is bright and clean. There are small scratches in the finish and thinning on the edges. Some small scattered pits. The butt plate shows more wear than the rest of the metal. The wood is in very good condition with minor dents and handling marks consistent with the age of the rifle. No missing or broken parts.
Folding leaf rear sight. Bolt-release-mounted swinging aperture sight. Double-set triggers.
