Sights / Optics: Rear site appears to be a hand made York County style, Front site also hand made iron. Neither are finished off ,but the site picture is precise.

Finish Originality: this is a hand made gun and all is original.
Bore Condition: Bright and shiny sharp rifling.
Overall Condition: The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.

Our Assessment: This rifle has a back action lock. With a barrel made by Green Mountain Barrel Company one of the best. Twist is 1 turn in 56 inches for .40 caliber. Poured pewter nose cap It is all most finished but need many final touches. All wood to metal fitting is very good.
