This Colt has the original box with the nickel add on label. The box is in fine condition with no damage. The label is intact and clean.This pistol was made in 1959. Pistol's serial number is 284008-C. The grips are made by Ajax and marked number 12. They are faux ivory. This pistol has been shot, however very little. The plating is very strong with no loss. The magazine is a correct original magazine. These early Colts in original nickel finish are rare. I have been told that around 2% of these 45's had the nickel finish. This government model Colt is in very fine condition and would rate 98% overall. There is no alterations to the parts or action. This is a really nice pretty looking Colt that is very collectable!
