Massive matched pair of Durs Egg boxlock pistols made 1838. In almost 25 years of selling antiques weapons we have never seen persussion boxlock pistols of this size. They are 65 caliber and a full 10 inches long; as big as any holster pistol of the era. Turn off barrels with engraving on either side of the lock, the hammer, behind the hammer and the bottom of the trigger guard. signed D Egg and London on the lock.
