- Note: This is a Republic of Columbia Police Issue Colt Police Positive in caliber 38 special. Whether you're a collector that likes to pick up these oddities, or just want another spare 38 for the house or tacle box, this is the gun for you. Almost no original finish remains on the gun. The factory walnut grips have been replaced with an after market synthetic, however the gun is solid mechanically, locks up like a Colt and has a bright bore with strong lands and grooves.
