Description:
Sharps and Hankins Civil War Navy Carbine. Very good leather with normal crackling and slight flaking. The frame has some of the silvering of the case colors and shadows on the frame of where the case colors were. The wood is very good with normal handling marks. But plate is slightly above metal and there are no visible cartouches. Action works fine and the bore has strong rifling and is bright and shiny. There is one small area of light pitting about 3 inches from the muzzle. Nice example of a Sharps and Hankins navy carbine!
