COLT MODEL 1877 LIGHTNING D.A. 38 REVOLVER CIRCA 1892. 5” barrel with “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.” two line barrel address. Very good plus to fine. Excellent bore and chambers and perfect working order. All original and matching example manufactured in 1892. Deep grey patina with traces of original blue particularly in the cylinder flutes. Excellent markings. Original “RAMPANT COLT” hard rubber checkered grips. Hard to find antique serial range of this model made famous by Billy the Kid.
