WINCHESTER MODEL 1903 SEMI-AUTOMATIC .22 AUTO CAL. RIFLE CIRCA 1912. 20” barrel with Winchester Model 1903 rear and bead front sights. Early .22 autoloader chambered for the .22 Automatic Winchester cartridge not to be confused with the .22 short, long or long rifle. Predecessor of the Model 63. All original and very good plus to fine with 90% barrel blue and frame and forend cap turned to a plum patina with faint blue evenly mixed in. Stock and forend with original varnish. Toe of stock with 3” long sliver missing and repaired with wood filler-doesn’t look bad. Working order and brilliant, near mint bore. Excellent barrel address and model markings. Nice example with a good bore which is usually not the case.
