Description:
This is a pair of 19th century precussion dueling pistols.  Probably made in Bosina.  The stocks are higly embellished with silver, nickle silver and touches of gold. Cosmettically they are beautiful with well preserved art.  Mechanically the hammers will not hold back but the springs seem strong.  The ram rod on one of the guns is missing the end. See pictures. There is writing in what appears to be 24k gold.  It is well defined.  Overall the gunsare beautifully preserved and will add to any collection.  These would have been owned by a person of status.  The caliber is unknown but probably .50 caliber. Weapons of this quality were important in the Islamic world.
ORIGIN: OTTOMAN EMPIRE/BLKAN/EGYPT/ALBANIA/SERBIA/MACEDONIA. We will ship at cost.  We accept MC/Visa, Amerian Express, Discover, Money orders, cashier's check, or personal check if allowed 10 days for clearing.
