*** SOLD PENDING FUNDS *** I am pleased to offer this Kessler double rifle in 8 x 57 JR (.318) caliber. Made in 1932 it may have been a GI bring-back from World War II. Serial number is 35134. Kessler is still making custom rifles in Suhl, Germany and continues its tradition of excellence. *** Weighing 7lb 15oz it has 24-1/2” barrels with express sights and extractors. The bores are good with a little frosting in a few places but strong rifling. It has double adjustable triggers with a front set trigger. The action is case colored and has simple but well-executed engraving. It also has side clips, a cross bolt, cocking indicators on the top strap, and bushed strikers. *** The nicely figured stock has a length of pull of 14” from the front trigger and comes with sling swivels.. It has a swept back pistol grip with a pistol grip cap. It also has a cheek piece for a right hand marksman and comes with a period thin leather sling. Comes with a set of RCBS 8mm Mauser(.318) loading dies and bullets. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges.
