#4673 Manhattan 3rd Variation Belt-Navy Revolver, 36-caliber, five shooter, with a 5” barrel bearing the Newark address. Fine smooth thin grey-brown metal with crisp edges and fine markings, including a cylinder scene that is about 85-90% intact. Fine grips, fine action very good bore. The strongest competitor to the Colts in the Navy sized guns …and every bit as good quality, the Manhattan Firearms Company just suffered from not aggressive enough marketing as well as not enough diversity in their weapons and so they went out of business in 1873.
