Description:
32" matted vent rib barrel with front and middle beads, choked full. 14 1/2" pull from gold plated, checkered trigger to solid red rubber recoil pad. 1 3/8" - 1 1/2" drop. Highly figured American walnut stock with Deeley-release beavertail forend, fluted horn-capped pistol grip, classic comb, vacant gold escutcheon, and point-pattern checkering with scalloped borders and with scalloped-edge checkered sidepanels. Casehardened action with automatic ejector, hold-open toplever, no safety, and with full coverage scroll engraving, two-tone gold ducks in marsh scene on left, three pheasants in farm scene on right, and ruffed grouse and two pine trees in gold on underside. Triggerguard bow with gold snipe and grass in gold with finely cut scroll on top and bottom of bow. Right and left side of barrel at breech finely scroll engraved and with “Ithaca Gun Co.” on right and “Ithaca, NY” on left in ribbon. Watertable engraved with S/N on right and 12 GA. $5000.00 Grade on left. Weight: 8lb, 11oz. Extremely fine condition, retaining 99% blue and 99% case colors. Crisp checkering. Excellent mechanics. Bright and shiny bore. In maker's trunk case.
