Description:
A spike axe head showing relic condition. These axe heads with pointed spikes were popular with the Iroquois in the early 1700's. A deadly weapon in the right hands. The piece was built to take a relatively thin shaft. For reference see pages 116 & 117 of "Indian Trade Relics" by Lar Hotbem. See also page 123.
