Inland M1 Carbine, cal. .30 Carbine, receiver marked: INLAND DIV with serial no. 6421XXX, crossed cannon cartouche on right side of buttstock, Underwood barrel with flaming bomb symbol and 2-44 barrel date, early "flip-type" rear sight with no windage adjustment, round bolt, sliding safety button just forward of trigger guard. Walnut stock is in overall good to VG condition with small scratches and a few small gouges. Walnut handguard in overall VG condition with small scratches and handling marks. Bore is good to VG with strong rifling and no corrosion. Most finish is worn off exposed portion of barrel. The receiver retains most of the original parkerized finish as does the trigger guard and magazine well. Stamped steel buttplate is in good condition with most finish worn off. Includes green cotton sling with oiler plus three 15-round magazines. Mechanically excellent and functions flawlessly with a variety of ammo.
