Description:
Browning BAR Safari Mk II, .30-06 semi auto rifle. Made in Belgium in 1995, assembled in Portugal, this rifle is in very fine condition. The "iron" sights were removed and a Leupold VX-1 3-9X40 scope is mounted with Leupold base and rings. The stock is oil finished and fitted with a Browning recoil pad. Although the stock finish looks original the correct finish would have been the typical Browning polyurethane. In other words I think the stock has been refinished by I'm not certain! Metal is 97-98%. The oil finished stock is 98%. The gun is mechanically perfect and ready for this big game season. Great caliber, perfectly matched scope, easy to shoot rifle.
