Comments : Mfg 1830. Antique firearm. Approx .75 cal. Sliding wood patch box on stock. Rectangular post behind top tang - a base for a rear sight that is missing (probably peep sight). Brass furniture with pierced and engraved butt plate. Gun's owner, William Simon, worked as Nixon's Secretary of Treasury. Poorly repaired crack at end of stock by muzzle. No case. R71 Used
