First please allow me to say that I know very little about M1 carbines or any other military rifle. I have been collecting Lugers since 1959. I feel I am very well qualified to discuss Lugers with anyone but not a M-1 carbine. That said, I came across this carbine in a Luger deal. From what I was told this rifle was stored for many years. The condition shows that is so. There are no ding, dents or scratches. It was varnished when I got it stripped the varnish and refinished it as close to military specs as I could. And quite honestly I think it looks great. I fired it a few times just to test it and it performs perfectly. According to the serial number this an Inland manufacturer. I was told the proof mark on the barrel indicates the barrel is a Winchester barrel. US overnight shipping is $45.00. Less expensive shipping is available. FFL or C&R is required. US shipping only.
