Up for sale is a 1st Gen colt made about 1902 The barrel on this gun has been bored out to accommodate 44/40 or 44 special loads. It was bored to .4285 I have shot .426 copper jacketed to .429 200g. It shoots accurate with both. The 44 special cylinder is a factory colt cylinder original 44 special not re chambered. As you can tell the 38 Cal marking has been removed from the barrel. This is a working gun for the Colt shooter. The original black grips are well used. The gun has been touched up with cold blue. The trimming is very good and the cylinder fit is good and tight. Here is an opportunity to own one gun but shoot two different calibers.I'm sorry The Ivory grips are no longer available ? Please feel free to ask any questions 8013190347
