IT IS IN ALL ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED AS FOUND CONDITION FREE OF ANY PITTING OR MAJOR DAMAGE. THE FINISH IS AN OVERALL GREY PATINIA WITH PARTS OF THE BARREL TURNING SLIGHTLY BROWN. THE ACTION IS INDEXING SMOOTHLY AND CORRECTLY AND IS LOCKING UP NICE AND TIGHT. THE GRIPS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE, FREE OF ANY MAJOR CRACKS CHIPS OR DINGS, SHOWING A VERY PLEASANT PATINA. THERE IS NICE RIFILING PRESENT IN THE BORE WHICH IS FREE OF ANY MAJOR PITTING (REQUIRES A GOOD CLEANING). THERE IS A NICE ARTILLERY REGIMENT DESIGNATION STAMP ON THE BUTT PLATE WHICH READS 23 A 2 56.
