Description:
Very Nicely done Colt SAA chambered in 44 Special. Serial # 243xxx ( 1903 Vintage, 10 years before the 44S&W Special Cartridge was introduced ). Cylinder has been changed, has Rampant Colt on loading side with a 204 on the business side. 5 &1/2" Barrel, Mirror Bore with lighjt lands and grooves and locks up like a drum. Don't know who did the work, had to be someone that does quality work and knows what they are doing because the Nickle is flawless, all the lettering is sharp and the only thing that is not correct are the grips which are pretty nice (See Photos). One can tell by the inventory # that I have had this Colt for many years, shot it quite a lot and really carried it as my own. Just a beautiful old Colt that is priced very reasonably. Don't think the work could be done today for what I am asking. FFL or C&R required. Thanks for Looking. PRICE REDUCED!!!
