Colt Detective Special 3” Nickel
Up for sale is this very nice and extremely rare 3 Inch Colt Detective Special chambered in .38 Special in a beautiful nickel finish. It comes with a 2” barrel and fixed sights. This is one of the hardest to find Detective Specials in 3” Nickel. This .38 Special is in 99% condition with no detractions and just a thin turn line on the cylinder. The Mechanics are all 100% just like the day it was made. The Hardwood grips are in good condition with sharp checkering and no cracks or gouges but a few light marks on the butt which are a very small distraction. This is a very rarely encountered D Frame for your Collection. This snake is 99% overall condition and these pictures do not do it justice. It locks up tight with a very faint almost imperceptible turn line. This DS is in excellent condition and will make a nice addition to your Colt collection.
