Description:
This is a S&W .45 Hand Ejector Model of 1917, shipped from the factory in 1929 to the commercial market. Judging by the Military Inspection mark (Eagle Head) stamped on the bottom barrel flat it was a WWI overrun, redirected to civilian sale. It is chambered for the .45 ACP, using half moon clips, or .45 Auto Rim which do not require the clips for ejection. The barrel is 5 ½” with an excellent bore. The action is tight and smooth. The finish is excellent with the exception of some minor rub marks on the barrel sides at the muzzle (Holster?) and a few tiny dings on the left side 1” from the muzzle. It has a butt swivel and non-matching grip numbers. A S&W factory letter from Roy Jinks is included to provide a historical record. In commercial form this is a rare revolver. Serial Number 181161. SHIPPING:
Normally shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with a return receipt. Typical Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for a handgun is $30.00, and for a Long Gun is $45.00.
Availability:
All items are in stock and available for immediate shipment. Please call or email and an Item will be held up to a week with your Name, Address, & Phone Number. FIREARMS:
Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address. Curio-Relic firearms, as defined by the BATF list, can usually be shipped to a Type 03 Collectors License address. Some states have additional restrictions such as CA, CT, DC, IL, MD, NJ and NY.
A signed valid FFL license copy either mailed or emailed will be required for shipment to only the license address.
Antique firearms, pre 1898 do not require a Federal License. For purchase, a copy of a Government Issued Identification (Drivers License, Etc), showing date of birth and current address will be required.

Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation the gun is functional and safe to fire. These guns are sold for collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged. If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made. Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded. All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
Sales:
All sales are made with the buyer’s full acceptance of the stated terms of sale. All sales are made in strict compliance with all Federal Firearms Laws. No items contained in thissite are offered for sale where prohibited by any Federal, State or Local laws. By ordering, the buyer certifies that their purchase will be in full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws. All transactions shall be deemed to occur in Pennsylvania regardless whether by telephone, mail, internet or the physical location of the buyer. All transactions will be subject only to Federal and Pennsylvania State law. Any disputes will be resolved in a Pennsylvania Court.
PAYMENT:
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 3% processing fee. For Visa and MasterCard orders please provide the account number, code number, expiration date, name on card, phone number and card billing address. This information can be phoned in, or E-Mailed. All orders must be paid in advance, C.O.D. orders are not accepted. Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay.
LAYAWAYS:
A 20% deposit is required. Balance is due in 60 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 60 days. Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX:
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
