Description:
Winchester Model 21 20 gauge SxS shotgun. 28” solid rib barrels with correct bore diameters of .615”; the chokes are marked M/F but they actually measure .002” & .005” which is closer to Cyl/WS1, in other words the chokes were opened-up for upland game hunting! Although the stock and forearm look correct I believe both to be very good replacements, with 97% finish. The pistol grip stock has a 13 7/8” LOP over a 7/8” “Winchester” recoil pad; 11/2” DAC & 2 5/16” DAH with right hand cast of ¼” at the heel and 3/8” at the toe. Mechanically it is tight and the barrels are “on face” with the action; a very solid gun. The barrels and the action were refinished professionally many years ago with the barrels retaining 98% blue and the action 95-97% with typical wear on the bottom edges, floor plate and trigger guard. It weighs 6 lbs. 10 oz. Nice bird gun!
