Description:
This is a Stainless steel Winchester Post 64 control round feed Model 70 in .270 WSM, 24" barrel. The action, the bolt and the trigger guard/floor plate have been polished mirror bright and the bolt has also beem engine turned. The action has been performance enhanced and it has a Timney trigger. The stock is completely custom and beautiful! Highly figured walnut with burl wood grip cap and forend tip, shadow line cheek piece, magnificently executed fine cut checkering with "ribbon" dividers, double recoil lugs and a right hand palm swell. Leupold Vari X-II 6-18x40 AO mounted on Leupold two-piece bases and rings. 14 1/8" LOP over a 1" Pachmayr decelerator presentation recoil pad. Weighs 9 lbs. 8 oz.
