Description:
A Chapuis 470 Nitro Express. Multiple rounds fired with no problems. Rifle locks up tight. The original firing pins were changed out for the larger size by JJ Perodau according to the previous owner. Kick Ese recoil pad. 14 1/2" LOP. The rifle has a 3 leaf express sight for ranges out to 200 meters but realistically, this is a rifle for close in work on large dangerous game. The rifle has never doubled or misfired, the firing pins have never failed to retract and cartridges have alsways extracted. The rifle has handling marks, look at the pictures of the wood and metal, but this attractive rifle is functionally perfect and a joy to shoot. This rilfe is "bullet proof--it never fails." Includes snap caps and a case. I also have a box of shells in case you are interested. I am selling it quickly and cheaply in order to pay for a return trip to Africa.
