GERMAN DANZIG MOD. 1871 MAUSER INFANTRY RIFLE. 11mm Mauser cal. All original, matching and complete. Barrel stamped at breech “CROWN/DANZIG” and “CROWN/W”. Profusely proofed and inspected with five “CROWN” Inspector’s stamps at the right breech and three more on the right side of the receiver. Very good over all with metal having an old very dark crusty patina. Wood with the original finish with various dents and stains. Dark bore with dried grease and fowling but will clean up much better. Rifling looks o.k. Butt plate with regimental stamp “67.R.R.”. Untouched, attic condition. Original ramrod.
