CONFEDERATE RICHMOND ARMORY MODEL 1861 RIFLE MUSKET DATED 1863. .58 caliber 40” barrel. Lock stamped “C.S./ RICHMOND” and dated “1863”. Original barn relic with forend shortened during the period of use after the war. All original with old crusty patina. Lock not working. Butt plate long gone. A real Richmond from a local collection. Very handsome.
