Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are sure proud to offer this very desirable first generation Colt Single Action Army. She was made in the year of our Lord 1901, and chambered in .41 Long Colt. That caliber is high on the list of collectors, as only a small percentage of such guns were made. She also sports the gunfighter length 4 3/4 inch barrel. The bore is very good, and I have not cleaned it yet. Overall, this revolver is in very good condition. The action is crisp, and the stampings are very sharp. Even the rampant Colt trademark is surrounded by nearly a full circle. Don't let the blotchy finish fool you, as the steel is smooth to the touch. The original grips are worn, but they are all there. The action works as it should, including the half cock loading position. Shipped to one of the largest outfitters at the gateway to the West, the Colt letter piles on more value. If you have been looking for the right 1873 to collect, shoot, or for investment, with the added clout of very desirable features and a factory letter, then look no further.
