Description:
This is a standard early model 1930 Mauser. It is chambered for the 30 Mauser cartridge. The boxes and ammunition portrayed are not for sale. Pistol's serial number is 853670. The pistol is all matched numbers. The bore is very good with sharp lands. The pistol and rig show use use but no abuse. The grips have no chips or damage. The varnish is all intact. This pistol shows no import markings for out of Germany sales. The original blue finish would rate a 95% overall condition. Action works great with no problems or repairs. The stock has the correct banner Mauser logo for the 1930 models. The metal stock rig is also correct for the 1930 pistols. They were not serial numbered to the pistol. The leather harness is quite rare to find for the 1930 models. It was made by Schork of Munich Germany. The harness has the correct tab to retain it to the stock staple. The cleaning rod and take down tool is a original tool for this pistol. The leather is supple with no repairs or damage. This is a fantastic original pistol with it's original complete "rig". You do not have to be a Mauser Collector to appreciate a pistol such as this Broom Handle. A pistol like this will appeal to many groups of collectors. It is very seldom that Mausers come on the market with their complete original rigs. Search for Harry Viezens on google.
